OVERVIEW
An elegant and modern museum website.
The American Terra Cotta Museum is unique in many ways; the museum honors and exhibits the history of the American Terra Cotta & Ceramic Company as well as its transition from clay to steel and its present day establishment, known as TC Industries. They required a modern website that effectively represents their mission and purpose, while presenting a clean aesthetic and easy to navigate structure.
Sometimes a simple website is all you need.
When planning a website, be sure to focus on quality over quantity. Think about what type of information your target audience needs and wants, don’t overcomplicate or stuff it with unnecessary content just to have a big website. This museum required a website that simply provides its audience with a brief introduction of who they are, where they are and how they can visit. We accomplished this by including only the necessary content within a clean layout and complemented their brand by selecting a neutral color palette. Keeping those details in mind, the end-result is a modern, informative website that accomplishes the set goal.
