A Website For A Restaurant Under New Ownership
Out with the old, in with the new? In this case, one of Highwood’s oldest Italian restaurants called on us for a new website. While the new owners are staying true to the establishment’s menu and are continuing to offer the same quality dining atmosphere (with the same staff!) that diners have come to know and love, they needed a new digital presentation. We provided a website that is easy to navigate and provides all the “must-have” details front and center.

We’ve seen many approaches taken to display a restaurant menu online.
While there are many great solutions, we decided to fully bring in Alex’s Washington Gardens’ menu – everything is included! To make the dining menu easy to navigate, we added a custom menu right below the page introduction content to identify each section within their dining menu. Doing so allows visitors to click on any section, from “pizza” to “appetizers”, “seafood” and “sides” in an instant, without the need to scroll and find the section manually. We also introduced a “back to top” button, when clicked, the website page will automatically scroll all the way back up (again, to minimize scrolling time).
